This facade for a restaurant in Mexico City employs parametric variation to create a shifting play of light and shadow. This swarm is fabricated from EPS foam blocks that are carved with a hotwire by an industrial robot. The sculpture is a symbol of collective behaviour a swarm or flock of small elements, from which a collective form emerges.
